Verified users on the Overlook Bay Wiki are users that have an article or are notable enough to have an article based on them on the wiki. This includes influencers, developers, former developers, and members that have contributed to Overlook RP in some way. Users that are verified are able to add {{Verified}} to the top of their user page, which displays their legitimacy.
Verification process
Any notable user may request an administrator to verify them. There are 2 methods through which a user can get verified:
- Discord method: To verify using Discord, the member would have to leave a message on an administrator's message wall while specifying that thye would like to verify using the Discord method, and join the Overlook Bay Wiki's official Discord server and verify using their Roblox account. The Discord bot, Bloxlink, manages verifications in the wiki's Discord server.
- Roblox method: To verify using Roblox, the member would have to leave a message on an administrator's message wall while specifying that they would like to verify using the Roblox method. The administrator would then, on the same message, grant the user a set of random words (example: red oof rip yes red) that the user would have to add to their Roblox profile temporarily in order to get verified.
