The AFK Mode - stylized in-game as "AFK MODE" - is a gameplay element in Overlook Bay 2 that was added as a part of version 0.1.0 of the game, upon release; it can be accessed through tapping (on a touchscreen device), or by clicking its icon on the left hand-side of a player's screen using the LMB button.
The player gets rewards every 15 minutes they spend in AFK Mode; these rewards are granted automatically to the player when they click the 'Go Back' button while in the AFK Mode to return to the game. If a player leaves Overlook Bay 2 while being in AFK Mode, when they rejoin the game, they will still be in AFK Mode, with their timer retained. The AFK Mode does not require players to use an auto-clicker to prevent Roblox from kicking the player, due to inactivity lasting more than 20 minutes, from the server.
Synopsis[]
When teleported to the AFK Mode room, the player's camera is focused on their character reading while listening to music, referencing the icon Lofi Girl. Towards the left hand-side of the screen, a timer denotes the amount of time a player has spent in AFK Mode for that particular session. The rewards that a player receives from the AFK Mode are not proportional to the amount of time they spend in the mode, but are rather randomly awarded once every 15 minutes.

"Guaranteed" rewards are rewards that a player will always receive once they exit AFK Mode, given that they have stayed in the mode for at least 15 minutes, which is the minimum time required to be spent in the mode to obtain a reward.
