The Valentine's Festival is an event in Overlook Bay that was released on February 9, 2022. This event introduced a new temporary currency known as which can be obtained by completing various different tasks around the map.

Visual Changes[]

The Valentine's Festival completely revamped the map to resemble a fantasy-styled map suffused with large candy decorations, that include gumdrops and lollipops. All trees found across Overlook Bay received a recolor, with their trunks being changed to white and their leaves receiving bright colors. The river changed to light brown in color, resembling a liquified milk chocolate. The Wishing Well was also remodeled to match the fantasy-styled theme.

Additions[]

The event brought along several pets, tools, vehicles, and food items to the game. A new Wishing Well pet, the Candied Cow was also added to the game alongside this event. This event's main stands were added next to the entrance to the Neighborhood, which contained the Candy Crusher and multiple pedestals housing Robux items, the Candied Bow, a few pedestals showcasing the mythic Candied Pegasus in its normal, Shiny, and Rainbow Shiny form could also be found. Players can also purchase Lollipods from this location.

On February 16, 2022, the ability to purchase multiple Lollipods at once was added, as well as particles for the normal form of the Candied Pegasus, and the ability to sell tools from the Candy Crusher, i.e., the Candied Rod, Candied Drill, and the Candy Cannon. These tools can be sold to Old Mayor Allistar, that can be found at the Valentine's Festival's Stands, in exchange for Candy.

Archery[]

2022 Heart Targets — Heart Targets that can be found in *Overlook Bay*.

The event introduced a temporary gameplay aspect similar to the 2021 Valentine's Festival event, Archery. Unlike the previous archery gameplay though, players were also able shoot other players using their Candied Bow or Candy Cannon. Shooting a player using their bow or cannon rewarded players with 10 per each player they shoot. There is a cooldown that is enacted upon each time a player shoots another player, meaning that a singular player cannot be consecutively targeted for a certain period of time after they have been shot once.

Similar to 2021's Valentine's Festival event, targets spawned across the map of Overlook Bay, which could have been hit using the Candied Bow or Candy Cannon. Upon hitting the heart targets, players were awarded with a certain amount of Candy. Hitting the edges of the target would award the player with 50, while hitting a bulls-eye would award the player with 100. If a player has the x2 Candy gamepass, the amount of Candy that they can receive from hitting the heart targets is doubled. There are a total of 22 heart targets that spawn across the city every 30 minutes.

Shooting a total of 50 targets would reward the player with a Marshmallow pet. This feature was added on February 16, 2022, along with a board counting the number of targets a player hit in the Valentine's Festival's Stands, located at the same site as the Overlook Park, next to the entrance to/exit from the Neighborhood. If a player accidentally shoots more than 50 targets before claiming the Marshmallow, their extra hits would be carried over to the next attempt. Players can claim as many Marshmallows as they would like to through this procedure.

x2 Candies Weekend[]

Starting Saturday, 26 February, 2022, Wonder Works Studio added a x2- Candies multiplier to the game that would double the amount of Candy players gain during the event. If a player owned the X2 Candy gamepass during the event, they would receive x4 the amount of Candy. The x2 Candy gamepass did not double the amount of currency gained by completing quests, while the x2 Candies Weekend did.

Although the x2 Candies "Weekend" was supposed to last till Monday, 28 February, 2022, it has not been removed as of March 9, 2022.
