When players join Overlook Bay for the first time, they get prompted by a tutorial which teaches them how the fundamentals of Overlook Bay work. This includes teaching players how to customize their Houses, Dress Up, earn 
Gems, and obtain Pets.
The Tutorial starts as soon as the players gets teleported into their House. Players initially get prompted with a friendly dialogue welcoming them to the world of Overlook Bay.
Tutorial: "Welcome to Overlook Bay, Username! We're excited to have you here, but before we set you free to explore the world we'd like to show you around. Let's freshen up your look so we can hit the city looking fresh!"
The players will then have to click on the "Continue" button. Clicking on "Close" will warrant them a warning which states that they may lose their chance at getting 1,000 if they were to skip the tutorial.
The player would then have to click on the 'Dress Up' button and follow where the tutorial leads them. Once the player clicks on the button, the tutorial would prompt them with another dialogue.
Tutorial: "You can create new looks and save them as outfits here. That way you can express your unique style in as many ways as you'd like. When you're finished exploring our Dress Up catalog, exit and we'll continue."
After clicking "Continue" again, the player would be prompted to close the Dress Up menu by clicking the 'X' icon.
Tutorial: "Looking good! I don't know if I could say the same about this empty house though. Here take some gems and decorate your place a bit."
After this dialogue, the player would receive an extra 2,500 to decorate their house. The player would also be prompted to click on the "Housing" button.
Tutorial: "This is our housing catalog, here you'll find all sorts of fun furniture to decorate with. Browse around for a bit and exit when you're ready to move on."
The player would then be prompted to close the housing menu using the "Close" icon.
Tutorial: "This is a good start, your house is looking better already! Now let's head into the city, use our Fast Travel button to travel the map quickly. Fast travel to the fountain using the Fast Travel button."
The player would then have to click on the globe-like icon towards the right side of their screen, select the fountain-like icon, and press Fast Travel.
Tutorial: "Welcome to the city center! Here, you can review our update board to see what was added in our most recent update. We also reward players for liking the game, and have a group rewards chest here. Make sure you join our group to get free stuff every Friday!"
Tutorial: "Now you can't fast travel everywhere, but there are other ways to get around the city fast. Equip your personal vehicle and let's go to the pet shop!"
The player would then have to equip whichever Personal Vehicle they obtained for free, and drive to the Pet Store.
Tutorial: "You made it here so fast! You can get more personal vehicles at the Personal Vehicle Shop behind the Car Dealership. But you seem kind of lonely maybe you could use a companion? Let's adopt your first pet, go to the Pet Pod Machines."
The player would then have to navigate over to the Pet Pod Machines.
Tutorial: "As you can see there are four machines here; Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. Each machine has the same pets, but some machines give you better chance at more rare pets. Here's a Bronze Pet Pod!"
After clicking "Continue" again, the player would receive a Bronze Pet Pod to throw.
Tutorial: "Now that you have a pet pod, it's time to throw that bad boy so it can hatch! Click or tap anywhere to throw your pet pod to hatch it."
After clicking "Continue" again, the player would then have to click anywhere on their screen to throw the pet pod.
After throwing the pet pod, the player then would receive the badge, "Furry Friend".
After the pet came out of the pet pod, the tutorial would prompt them with another dialogue.
Tutorial: "Wow you got a [Pet's Rarity] [Pet]! It looks like it came out of the pod very sleepy, we should get them some rest."
After clicking "Continue" again, the player would then have to navigate over to the pet beds in Pet Store and place their pet in bed.
After the sleep task was completed, the tutorial would prompt them with another dialogue.
Tutorial: "It looks like your pet is very happy! If you take care of your pets needs you'll earn Gems, there's so many more ways to get rich in Overlook Bay. Open your Fast Travel menu and go to the mines!"
The player would then have to click on the globe-like icon towards the right side of their screen, select the fountain-like icon, and press Fast Travel.
After entering the Crazed Caverns, the tutorial would prompt them with another dialogue.
Tutorial: "Welcome to the Crazed Caverns, here you can mine crystals and sell them for Gems. Open up your inventory and pull out your pickaxe. Then approach a rock with the colorful crystals on top of it and mine it."
The player would then have to click on the bag-like icon in the lower middle of their screen, select the toolbox icon, equip the pickaxe, navigate over to a rock, and mine a rock.
After picking up the crystal, the tutorial would prompt them with another dialogue.
Tutorial: "Nice you mined a [Crystal]! You can sell your crystals at that shack over there. As you level up your mining skill you'll also earn exclusive rewards. Now let's hit the beach and see if any fish are biting."
The player would then have to navigate over to the Beach.
Tutorial: "Ah the weather is so lovely, it's a good day to do some fishing! Open up your inventory and equip your fishing rod. Then cast it out and wait until the meter pops up to reel it in. Make sure you get the ball on the meter to land in the green or center circle to catch the fish."
The player would then have to click on the bag-like icon again in the lower middle of their screen, select the toolbox icon, equip the fishing rod, and catch a fish.
After catching a fish, the tutorial would prompt them with another dialogue.
Tutorial: "Wow you caught a [Fish]! You can sell your fish at that shack on the small island across the bay. You'll want to take the ferry there though as a dangerous shark is lurking these waters."
After clicking "Continue" again, the tutorial would prompt them with another dialogue.
Tutorial: "There are so many other ways to earn Gems in Overlook Bay! You can collect seashells, fruits from pink trees, dig up treasures and even go to work! But this is where we'll end our fun little tutorial. Go on and explore Overlook Bay citizen, here is 1,000 Gems as a reward for completing our tutorial!"
After this dialogue, the player would receive a 1,000, the prompt would end and the GUI would disappear from the player's screen.
