The Crystal Cavity is a building in Overlook Bay that is located inside the Crazed Caverns. This building is the location where players can sell their crystals as well as buy new pickaxes and drills in exchange for 
Gems or 
Robux. It was initially released during the Halloween Event (2020) and has since then become an important factor for the gameplay part of Overlook Bay.
Initially, this building could have only been found in the 'Surface Area' of the Crazed Caverns, but after the Molten Mines update, this building was copied and added to the Molten Mines part of Crazed Caverns as well.
The Crystal Cavity present in the Surface Area can be used to buy standard pickaxes whilst the one present in the Molten Mines can be used to purchase drills. Both the buildings are accompanied by another building which has a board displaying the Mining Pass inside. The building present in the Surface Area displays levels 1 to 50 of the Mining Pass, whilst the one present in the Molten Mines displays level 51 to 100 of the Mining Pass.
Appearance[]
The Crystal Cavity is a little shack located in Crazed Caverns, and can be found in both the Surface Area as well as the Molten Mines. Both of them possess the same appearance, except the one in the Molten Mines is elevated and stands on some scaffolding.
Exterior[]
Surface Area[]
The Crystal Cavity is a small shack-like building which has two curved windows at the front. A signboard signifying the words "The Crystal Cavity" can be found on its roof, along with a giant pickaxe hanging beside it. Towards to right side of the signboard, a giant, golden-colored crystal can also be found. Overall, The Crystal Cavity looks like a worn out, brown-colored, rural cottage from the outside.
Molten Mines[]
The Crystal Cavity present in the Molten Mines possesses about the same appearance as the one present in the Surface Area, except it is elevated through a few pillars, and has a large drill and a crystal hanging beside its signboard rather than a pickaxe.
Interior[]
The interior of both The Crystal Cavity is exactly the same. They both have the NPC, Cathy Crystal as well as the same layout, the only different being the exclusive tool display pedestal and the crystal price display board.
Surface Area[]
In The Crystal Cavity found inside the Surface Area, players can find the Zeus Pickaxe on top of the display pedestal and a board displaying the price of the Crystals exclusive to the Surface Area.
Molten Mines[]
In The Crystal Cavity found inside the Molten Mines, players can find the Hyper Drill on top of the display pedestal and a board displaying the price of the Crystals exclusive to the Molten Mines.
Selling Crystals[]
There are currently 13 crystals in-game, 6 of which can be obtained through the Surface Area of the Crazed Caverns, while 7 can be obtained from mining/drilling crystals in the Molten Mines. When a crystal is drilled/mined, the player is also granted a certain amount of XP which helps them increase their level in the Mining Pass.
Surface Area[]
Overlook Bay players could initially trade the crystals they obtained from the Surface Area in exchange for 
Souls. However, since mining stayed in-game even after the Halloween Event (2020) had resided, players obtained the ability to exchange their crystals for Gems.

The crystals that are obtained through drilling using drills in the Molten Mines can only be exchanged for Gems in The Crystal Cavity present in the Molten Mines. Similar to normal crystals, they also grant a specific amount of XP upon being drilled.
