The Seal is a rare pet in Overlook Bay released on June 18, 2021, and could have been obtained out of the Bubble Pod at a 5% chance, Pearl Pod at a 10% chance, and the Treasure Pod at a 27% chance. This pet was originally a concept made by @Moondustbri on Twitter.(view)
This pet received an unprecedented update alongside the Overlook RP Update, where its 3D model was completely replaced by a model purchased from Anko3D on TurboSquid. The Seal's old model was reinstated in-game in February 2022. The use of this legacy model was implied to have been an unintentional change and officially stated to be reverted in the Patch Notes for February 24, 2022 (though the revert happened before this date).
Appearance[]
The current Seal's model is modeled after a Harp seal pup. It has pink blushes on both cheeks and a small blue fish on top of its head.
The temporary Seal model was modeled after a sea lion rather than a seal.[1] It had purple-colored skin and blush marks on both of its cheeks, with a white-colored underbelly.

Shiny Appearance[]
In its Shiny form(view), the Seal emits white star-shaped particles. The nametag color of the Seal switches to a vibrant yellow color.

Rainbow Shiny Appearance[]
In its Rainbow Shiny form(view), the Seal emits particles which cycle through various different colors, every particle is differently colored than the other, dissimilar to its shiny counterpart. Each particle varies in size and shape. The nametag of the Seal cycles through the colors of the rainbow.
