Before the Overlook RP Update, the Purple Fangtooth Fish could have been sold for 15 at Barnacle's Bait and granted the player 15 Fishing XP upon being caught. Since this fish could only be obtained from the abyss in the Arcadia Depths throughout both day and night, it was classified as a "Deep Sea Fish".
