Luck is one of the core gameplay systems in Overlook Bay that helps in determining the outcome of carrying out a certain task. Luck is a hidden multiplier value, meaning that there's no proof to prove its existence other than taking Wonder Works Studio's word for it. It may potentially benefit the player in the following ways:
It may improve the player's chances at getting a better prize from the Wishing Well.
It may help the player catch a better fish while fishing, a better crystal while mining, and better treasure while treasure hunting.
Multiplier[]
By default, a player's Luck multiplier is set to 1x, which means that the player does not receive any additional Luck. Players can increase their Luck multiplier in the following ways:
Equipping a normal Celebration Dragon boosts the player's Luck multiplier by 3 times, a Shiny Celebration Dragon boosts it by 4 times, and a Rainbow Shiny Celebration Dragon boosts it by 5 times.
If a player equips their Celebration Dragon along with a better tool, the Luck multiplier gets stacked on top of the tool's Luck multiplier.
