The Hot Air Balloon was initially added to Overlook Bay on May 4, 2021, along with the Pride Month event that added the Pride Bike as well as the Pride Flag. It was accompanied by a countdown that marked the full release of the Arcadia Isle. It was when this countdown was added when Wonder Works Studio officially announced that users would have to ride the Hot Air Balloon to reach Arcadia Isle.
The Hot Air Balloon is one of the sources through which players can access Arcadia Isle. It is located near the beach, in front of the Overlook High School. Players have to pay 
50 each time to travel to Arcadia Isle using the Hot Air Balloon. Every 20 seconds the Hot Air Balloon would take off and would come back 20 seconds later.
If players have rented a house in Arcadia Isle, or have purchased access to the Pearl Paradise (House) (by buying the Pearl Paradise (Gamepass)), they can teleport to it without having to ride the Hot Air Balloon.
