The Galactic Lion is a godly pet in Overlook Bay which was released on June 25, 2021.
Purchasing any Overlook Bay-related merchandise item (from the Stay Peachy Shop) on or before July 8, 2021, would have rewarded the buyer with a code, which they could redeem in-game at the Overlook Merch Stall (by interacting with the NPC, Juniper) to obtain the Galactic Lion. Players initially had time till July 8, 2021, to redeem their codes. On July 13, 2021, however, the Overlook Merch Stall was re-added to the game and only allowed players to redeem their codes until July 20, 2021.[1]
Any Galactic Lions obtained using fraudulent methods, such as refunding merchandise orders after claiming the code would lead to the Galactic Lion being removed from the user's inventory.[2]
The Galactic Lion was temporarily removed on July 5, 2021, but was re-added to the game until July 8, 2021, 11:59PM EDT. Since the 10 days countdown, as well as the extra three days have passed, the Overlook Merch Stall has been removed from the game, along with the Galactic Lion, making it no longer obtainable unless via the means of trading.
Appearance[]
The Galactic Lion has a dark purple body, and a tail with a hot pink tip. Its mane is violet and shades of light blue with yellow stars, and has a rainbow shooting star hair clip. The inside of its ears are light purple, and has pink blushes on its cheeks under its black beady eyes, as well as a dark violet-colored patch above its pink nose.
Shiny Appearance[]
In its Shiny form(view), the Galactic Lion emits diamond, circular, as well as star-shaped particles that are golden in color. Its nametag also switches to a bright yellow color.
Rainbow Shiny Appearance[]
In its Rainbow Shiny form(view), the Galactic Lion emits particles which cycle through various colors, every particle is differently colored than the other, dissimilar to its shiny counterpart. Each particle varies in size and shape. The nametag of the Galactic Lion cycles through the colors of the rainbow.
