The Axolotl is a godly pet in Overlook Bay that was released on July 9, 2021. This pet replaced the Painted Giraffe, which used to be the previous Wishing Well pet. It could be obtained by making a wish at the Wishing Well at a 0.5% chance. It was replaced with the Bloom on September 3, 2021.
Appearance[]
Initially, the Axolotl used to be grounded, but soon after its release, it got updated and started levitating when equipped. It emits an ocean-blue colored aura effect as well as pale pink-colored sparkles while in-game.(view)

Shiny Appearance[]
In its Shiny form(view), the Axolotl emits yellow-colored particles as well as pale pink-colored sparkles. The nametag color of the Axolotl switches to yellow.

Rainbow Shiny Appearance[]
In its Rainbow Shiny form(view), the Axolotl emits white-colored particles along with pale pink-colored sparkles. The nametag of the Axolotl cycles through several different colors.

- The Axolotl's 3D model and design was purchased from Anko3d's for sale models on Turbosquid, a 3D model asset sale website.
- The Axolotl has 2 different idle and walking animations which randomize upon the player equipping the pet. It can either float during its idle and walking animation, similar to some of the Ocean Pets, or it could be standing and walking on land like other standard pets.
- On one of their tweets, Wonder Works Studio depicted the Axolotl to resemble the "Taurus" zodiac sign.[1]
